Bought this item when it was priced at $9 along with other ornaments. After purchasing I was sent an email stating the item was out of stock however when I checked their store the item was not out of stock but instead they increased the price of the item.

We actually had two different Maileg red drum ornaments in our system:
The 2021 Maileg red drum (SKU 14-1505-00) priced at $8, which is the version you originally purchased and which did sell out.
The 2024 Maileg red drum (SKU 14-4502-00) priced at $11, which is a separate item and a newer release.
Our system emailed you that the original item you ordered was out of stock, and the newer 2024 version remained available at its normal price. We completely understand how this could look confusing and appear as though we changed the price, but we want to reassure you that we did not increase the price on your order or try to be deceptive in any way.
As a small shop, we work incredibly hard to keep our inventory accurate. Unfortunately, from time to time items go out the door with “sticky fingers,” which can cause inventory to appear available when it’s not. It’s never intentional, and we’re always working to improve this.
