A Labor of Love
Introduction:
When it comes to Maileg products, my heart is brimming with passion and joy. With the arrival of our seasonal Maileg sales promotion, I couldn't resist the opportunity to showcase these cherished items that bring boundless smiles to countless faces.
In this blog, I invite you to join me on a journey filled with creativity, craftsmanship, and heartfelt dedication as I set out to create a mesmerizing display for the Maileg products I hold dear.
To bring this magical display to life, I gathered the following materials:

- Wood Screws
- Glue Sticks
- Paint
- Wrapping Paper (Maileg)
With passion as my guiding light, I employed the following tools to weave this enchanting spectacle:
- Hot Glue Gun
- Drill
- 3/16” Drill Bit
- Drill Press (Ideal)
- Paint Brush
The heart of every carousel lies in its platform. For this crucial element, the Wood Circle Project Panel proved to be the ideal foundation for the magical ride. A simple coat of white paint laid the groundwork, and a graceful touch of a gold decorative brocade ribbon added elegance that beautifully complemented the Maileg products.
To ensure stability and balance, a wooden spool found its place at the center of the Carousel Platform, forming the backbone that linked it to the Carousel Canopy above.
Install Toy Animals:
With excitement and joy, I invited the Maileg magic into the scene. Carefully using a 3/16” drill bit, I created centered holes in each plastic animal. Wooden dowels were then gently inserted into these holes, and with a creative eye, I playfully arranged the animals on the carousel platform.
To guarantee their safe and delightful journey, I meticulously secured each animal to the Carousel Platform using a hot glue gun, firmly attaching the bottom of each dowel.
Building the Carousel Canopy:
The carousel's allure lies within its canopy, and I took great care in crafting one that would captivate hearts. Using small wood dowels, I patiently built the sub-structure of the Carousel Canopy, laying the foundation for its enchanting design. Cardboard became my canvas, and as I wrapped it with the ever-beautiful Maileg wrapping paper, the canopy came to life.
An elegant touch of gold decorative brocade ribbon adorned the base of the Carousel Canopy, infusing it with a regal charm. Finally, with skillful precision, I drilled a hole into the wooden plate, securely fastening the canopy to the center post, completing the magical canopy.
Finishing Touch:
Finishing Touch Having completed the Carousel, I placed it on the Motorized Rotating Display Stand and powered the motor on and… voilà! The whimsical world of Maileg turns real.
Conclusion:
Creating the Maileg Carousel was a labor of love, fueled by my profound admiration for these whimsical products. Each step in the process was imbued with passion and creativity, and I sincerely hope that this enchanting display brings joy to all who lay their eyes upon it.
